Ok, I totally blame Barry for this…
On Saturday, whilst we were at the Geek and Greet he pulled out a card game called Fluxx which has two really simple rules – when you start.
Anyway, having got hold of our own copy, and played it for a bit, I can well see how it won it’s Mensa Award as once one or two of the cards that change the rules have been placed, it can get very complicated to keep track.
Beth and myself are about equal pegging in terms of having won, which makes a change.
Anyway, if you want a fun card game to play, we can definitely suggest Fluxx as something to try. Fluxx 3.0 is available on Amazon

🙂
So it’s over to your’s then for willing victims? It’s certainly more interesting with 3 or more players, with 2 players and a knowledge of the cards you can just about build a strategy. With 3 players it becomes complicated. With 4 players it’s insane.
Well from our limited play so far, there does seem to be a definite element of strategy with regards to the keepers. Since they hold the key to winning, when you play your keepers, and trying to work out what your oponents hold seems pretty important.
