So our house is definitely on the market. The agent came round and took a whole load of pictures of the house, and we signed off on the details, and the house is listed on the Richard Worth web site.

According to the details, the house is ‘immaculately presented’, which I guess is partly down to having a number of large boxes of stuff in storage, but also a large amount of work on Beth’s part keeping things in order despite my ability to pile paper all over the place. It is especially worth noting that the second bedroom actually looks like a bedroom – currently it only has one desk, one computer (the Mac of course) and currently three spare sockets!

The details were published in the middle of the afternoon, and at 5pm we had our first viewing – someone who was e-mailed the details, and immediately made an appointment.
